dis-connected macha presents marie-laure delaby’s research, work in progress and ideas in relation with visual and media art worlds in general and the concept of dis-connected environments in particular.
marie-laure delaby (1981, Brussels-Ghent) is a multi-disciplinary artist, graduated from the transmedia post-graduate program in art+media+design (Sint-Lukas, Brussels). She shares her studio in Ghent with architect and visual artist Juan Duque, with whom she started the threeplusone artists collective.
Using painting, photography, video, installation, public intervention, she previously explored night clubs and then urban environments in order to reveal their states of dis-connection.
marie-laure works also as project assistant at iMAL, center for digital cultures and technology (Brussels).
